There will be two midterm examinations worth 30% each and a comprehensive final worth 30%. Five homework sets, evenly spaced throughout the semester, will account for 10% of the grade. Assignments must be turned in on time (except with a valid excuse). I do not give make-up exams, although alternative arrangements can be made if there is a legitimate reason for missing a test.
