and Trade in Australia

March 13-24, 2008 (Spring Break)

The Economics Department at Iowa State University is sponsoring the travel course "Economics 496: Agricultural Production, Business, and Trade in Australia" in Spring 2008.  The focus of this study program is to compare agricultural production, business, and trade in Australia and the United States.  This 3-credit course involves a trip to Australia from March 13 through March 24, 2008 and meets the international perspective requirement.  While in Australia, ISU students will visit farms, agricultural businesses, and important sites in Sydney and Melbourne, and will interact with the faculty and students at the Dookie Campus of the University of Melbourne.  Weekly class meetings are held during the spring semester.
