The Agronomy Department and the Economics Department at Iowa State University are sponsoring the travel course "Agronomy 496/Economics 496: Agricultural Production, Business, and Trade in Argentina" in Spring 2009. The focus of this program of study is to compare agricultural production, business, and trade in Argentina and the United States. This 3-credit course involves a trip to Argentina from March 12 through March 22, 2009 and meets the international perspective requirement. While in Argentina, ISU students will visit farms, agricultural businesses, important sites in Buenos Aires and Rosario, and will interact with the faculty and students of the Universidad Católica Argentina (College of Agricultural Sciences). Class meetings will be held Wednesday 5:10-6:30 during the spring semester.
