Briefly about me:
I was born in Denmark, where I lived until 1994. I finished high school at Århus Katedral Skole (roughly 800 years old), and continued as a student of mathematical economics at the University of Århus. Before finishing my degree there, I left for Cornell University, where I got my Ph.D degree from the Department of Economics in 1999.
Since 1999 I have been here at Iowa State University. I live in Ames, Iowa, with my husband, Joydeep Bhattacharya and my golden retriever puppy, Rani.
My main area of research is econometrics, but I've also touched on a few other topics, like dynamic of macro models and racial profiling.
